Setting root directory [imported from GotDotNet]

It would be useful to specify the root directory after which the control looks up for photos. E.G.: that way I can have an "image" directory for the web site look and feel (for which I don't want people to browse it), a "PublicPhotos" directory for freely accessible photos and a "PrivatePhotos" for those that are personal and shared only with the family and friends: that'll result in only two root directories for photos, whilst they are subdirectories of the root dir.

Imported from GotDotNet:spipo User Posts:1 Templated Example Posted on: 07/04/2006 06:36:19

I tried to implement the templated version of PhotoHandler. I suppose it should be possible to set a path for the image files. But as soon as I set a path like

I get a System.ArgumentNullException on line 1564:

if (path != _requestDir && !path.StartsWith(_requestPathPrefix)) {

As I'm relatively new to .net, I couldn't find out what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone as a idea, how to solve this error?

Thanks in advance!
